MarketplaceThe term Marketplace has to do with world systems that make up a community, such as economical, educational, political and judicial, etc.

The Kingdom of God has become somewhat a trendy term tossed around throughout Christian circles. However, from a biblical perspective, the Kingdom of God is the power of God resident within the Believer to proclaim the Gospel of the Good News, to set the captive free, to demonstrate the power of God and to influence change within their  sphere of influence (Romans 14:17; Luke 17:20, 4:18-19; 11:19-20).

Jesus taught His disciples to pray, “thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).  Although the kingdom of God is progressive and the revelation is yet unfolding, what we can clearly see from the Scriptures is, it has always been the plan of God to mobilize the Church beyond the “sanctuary meetings”  The Church, ekklesia, the Body of Christ is called to be “salt and light” in their sphere of influence.  Thus, as we come to understand the Kingdom of God, we are also, coming to understand that the same yoke destroying, burden removing anointing exercised in the Assembly is available to be exercised outside the Church walls.

Secondly, the Body of Christ is called to “occupy”, barter, trade, do business (Luke 19:13; Matthew 25:14-30), therefore using our gifts, talents, divinely inspired innovations enables us to honor God and reflect His glory in the world systems, liken to Daniel and Joseph.

Therefore, it is from this viewpoint that Trumpet has expanded her borders to community involvement and to engage in the Marketplace. Trumpet  presently have two active Marketplace initiatives: which are E.L.I., a Children’s Ministry Mascot and Healthy Living Farms, a chemical-free produce and aquaculture farm.
